House Rules & Services

How things run day to day

None of this is meant to feel strict — it’s just what keeps a shared home comfortable for everyone in it, guests and staff alike.

The spirit of the stay

At every point, we ask guests to remember this is a homestay, not a hotel. Take care of the house the way you’d take care of your own.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is after 12:00 noon, check-out is before 10:00 AM.

Early check-in or late check-out might be possible depending on the previous or next guest’s dates — if you need it, just ask and we’ll see what we can do. If we can fit you in, you’re welcome to use unoccupied areas of the house while you wait.

Room cleaning

We clean your room and put out fresh sheets and towels before you arrive.

During your stay, we clean the room once every three days and change bedsheets every five.

We ask that you keep your own space tidy day to day — waste in the bins provided, spills wiped up.

Cleaning happens between 10 AM and 12 noon.

Kitchen cleaning

The kitchen is cleaned daily, except Sundays — we take out the trash, clean the slabs, and tidy up.

You’re expected to clean up spills on the slab or microwave, and wash your own dishes. Daily dish-washing is available as a paid add-on if you’d rather not.

Bathroom cleaning

Your bathroom is cleaned before check-in, and again every Saturday.

Please leave your room unlocked on cleaning days so our staff can get in.

Living with other guests

We have zero tolerance for rude behaviour towards our staff — anyone impolite to staff, housemates or other guests will be asked to leave immediately, without a refund.

Quiet hours run 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM — no loud music or loud conversation during that window.

The residential complex has its own rules around the pool, parking and so on. Breaking those can also mean being asked to leave without a refund.

Internet

150mbps across three ISPs — see Workation in Goa for the full setup. Outages are rare, but a personal hotspot as backup never hurts.

Shared spaces

If you’re in a shared room setup, be mindful of the other guests around you — someone might be mid-call.

We love when guests get to know each other, just with some consideration for everyone’s space.

In the shared kitchen: please don’t eat food that isn’t yours.

Accidental damage

Small accidents happen and we don’t expect anything for those. Anything worth ₹1,000 or more will need to be fixed or reimbursed by the guest responsible.

The full legal terms — cancellations, deposits, and so on — live on our Terms of Service page.
